Funding treatments to end paralysis...
A brief outline of Trust PA Spinal Repair Charity
(The picture is of P-A in the Hospital Spinal Unit with Physio Mel)
Trust PA Spinal Repair Charity was set up in memory of Paul-André Blundell (P-A) by his family after his tragic rugby accident in Sept 2001.
One of his friend’s perceptive comment was; “one could always Trust P-A” so this being true, the name was obviously appropriate for our charity, set - up in 2002.
At Trust PA we work to help fund - the progression from science into safe interventions to fix paralysis from a broken neck or back – known as spinal cord injury (SCI) paralysis.
The aim is to restore both sensation and movement to SCI men, women and children. The resulting knowledge will also enable many solutions to other central nervous problems.
Key to reducing head, neck or back injuries causing -
rugby concussion & spinal cord injury (SCI) paralysis
is to train/drill/teach - every player from DAY ONE -
Trust PA "EYES UP" Safe Play Rugby
