TRUST PA SPEEDWAY GP BUCKET COLLECTION We were again pleased to be able to hold another Trust PA bucket collection at the prestigious Cardiff Wales Millennium Stadium on Saturday 27th June 2009. After a lot of pre-event work we were pleased to be well supported on the afternoon with many collectors including trustees, friends, family and supporters. The event was the "British Speedway Grand Prix" with a crowd of approx - 40,000 spectators entering the stadium via the six entrances between 3 and 5pm approx. Our collectors assembled and registered at The Cardiff Blues (loaned) Ticket Office where security checks were made and authority certificates and badges issued to the collectors along with their Trust PA buckets and caps. Our Gate Captains took their teams to each respective location, ready for the droves of spectators arriving to see the spectacular and exciting Grand Prix Event. At the end of the work many of our collectors commented that they had enjoyed the experience and were very pleased to be able to help us. Our most important BIG THANK YOU must go the the organisers of the British Speedway Grand Prix as without their permission and generous assistance we could not have made this valuable and important collection. In time this will help to make repair treatments available in NHS Hospitals in the future. Out aim is to help fund repair treatments to increase the possible movement and sensation to improve the lives of spinal cord injured men, women and children in memory of PA - (Paul-Andre Blundell).
